 　　68. according to，as per，in accordance with，in conformity with , in compliance with, in ( the) light of, in line with这些复合介词所引起的短语都可在句中作状语，表示“按照、根据”。

　　according to 运用最广泛，由 “根据某种标准” 转义而来，注意由“取决于……”或“据……所说”转义的”按照”不能用其他复合介词替换。

　　in accordance with 和in conformity with 同义，由 “使符合某种标准” 转义而来，两者均较正式。在in compliance with中，compliance 意指“the act of complying to a desire ，

　　demand ，proposal ，etc. ” 因此它是由 “依从……” 转意成“遵照”，口气较尊敬，常接表示主观意愿的wishes，request及suggestions，instructions，regulations 等词，如：Some articles have been omitted in compliance with the wishes of the author. 该句表明编者“依从” 了作者的意愿。

　　in (the) light of 由 “根据新得到的信息” 转义成 “按照”light指 “有助说明问题的事实或发现” 如：He was condemned in the light of the evidence that the witness gave.“该句表明他被判刑是依据了证人 (新近) 提供的证据。”

　　in line with 中line 意指“way of behavior”，in line with 由“使行为方式符合某种规定的做法”转义成。“按照” 其后 常接 custom , tradition , policy , contract , rules , ( an earlier)decision 等表示 “规定了的做法” 的词，如：In line with the custom of the school, the students had a holiday between Christmas and New Year's Day. ( The holiday follows the usual practice. ) 该句表明学校放假是因袭了这种惯常做法。

　　as per 是书面语，一般用于商业函电，语气比according to更正式，如：Specifications as per Maker's Catalog No. 70. “规格按生产厂商的第70 号商品目录。”
