In my courses, Miss Chen was full of creative ideas and was always ready to air her own views. Being quick in the uptake, she has a great capacity of learning. At the outset of learning accounting, many students felt it mind-boggling and confused to understand the calculation of foreign currency transaction loss and gain. She comprehended the method in no time. Not only did she perform well in answering the class-end quiz, but also proved a valuable asset to the class as she shared her own way of comprehension and related personal experience with others. In the final examinations, she scored A- for both courses, ranking top 30% among her peers.
In addition to Ms. Chen’s class performance, as her instructor for practice, I was also impressed by her rich internship experience and great zeal for practice. Especially, according to her internship report regarding her experience at Allianz China Life Insurance Co., Ltd., she not only analyzed the similarities and differences between the Chinese local insurance market and that of the foreign country, but also proposed constructive suggestions for improving Chinese insurance situations. From her report, it was obvious that Ms. Chen was diligent in thinking and constantly sought for further pursuit.
