B. 英语中，would rather, had rather, would sooner等之后的宾语从句常表示与客观事实不相符的一种愿望，故使用虚拟语气。其虚拟语气的结构为：

表示所发生的时间	虚拟语气结构
过去	had + 过去分词；
现在	过去时(be 用were )
将来	过去时(be 用were )

例如：I’

d rather you

had seen the film yesterday.

我倒想你昨天看过了这场电影。

I’

d rather you

were here now.

我倒想你现在这儿。

’d rather you

went here tomorrow. 我宁愿你明天去那儿。

四、形容词和副词 (P34-37)

1. 形容词

1) 形容词的分类表

分类	特点	例词
性质形容词	占大多数，有比较和最高级	short, ugly, young…
叙述形容词	无级的变化，不能用副词修饰	asleep, alive, ill, afraid
其他形容词	无级的变化，不能用副词修饰	eastern, Japanese

2）形容词的语法功能以及在句子中的位置

a. 做定语

如果修饰的是名词，要放在名词之前；如果是复合代词，则放在后面。

例如：

This

is an expensive

watch. (这是一块价格昂贵的手表)

主语系定语表语

need

something

useful.(我需要一些有用的东西)

主语谓宾定语

b. 作表语

例如：

This watch

is expensive.

（这块手表很昂贵）

主语系表语

c. 作宾语补足语

例如：

have got

everything ready.

( 我意准备好一切)

主谓宾语宾补

3）形容词的比较等级的规则变化和不规则变化

构成		原级	比较级	最高级

	不发音的“e”结尾	large	larger	(the)largest
	辅音字母+y 结尾	busy	busier	(the) busiest
	一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节	big	bigger	(the) biggest

不规则变化		goodwell	better	(the) best
		badillbadly	worse	(the) worst
		manymuch	more	(the) most
		far	farther further	(the)farthest (the) furthest
		little	less	(the) least
		old	older elder	(the) oldest (the) eldest
		late	Later latter	(the) latest (the)last

4）形容词的比较等级的用法

a. 原级

A+be动词+as+形容词原级+as

+B. …和…一样

例如：Her skin is as white as

snow.

她的皮肤像雪一样白

A+be动词+not +as+形容词原级+as

+B. …和…不一样, …不如…

例如：I am not as careful as

her.

我不如她细心

+be动词+times +as+形容词原级+as

+B. ….是…的几倍

例如：This ruler is three times as long as

that one.

这把尺子是那把的三倍长（这把尺子比那把长两倍）

+be动词+half +as+形容词原级+as

+B. ….是…的一半

例如：This tree is half as tall as

that one.

这棵树是那棵的一半高

b. 比较级(P36)

A+be动词+形容词比较级+than

+B. …比…

例如：I am older than

you.

我比你大

The +比较级…, the +比较级越…, 越…

例如：The busier

he is, the happier

he feels.

他越忙越高兴

加修饰词的比较级

在形容词前面通过加 a bit, a little, far, much 等词来加强比较的程度。

例如： This book is far more interesting

than that one.

这本书比那本有趣多了。

有比较级但不表示比较的现象

…less than…. (不太…),… no more than….(只不过…)

c. 最高级

A+ be动词+the+形容词最高级+ofin… …在…最…

例如：Spring is the best season of

the year. 春天是一年里最好的季节
