Yi Xiaozhun Having a Discussion with MOFCOM Research Specialists

In the morning on March 17, Vice Minister of Commerce Yi Xiaozhun had a discuss with research specialists of Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce (CAITEC), accompanied by headers of Policy Research Department, Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs and Department of WTO Affairs.

　　Mr. Yi Xiaozhun heard the introduction of CAITEC research specialists on research work launched recently and suggestions on investigation work of the Ministry. He said that the Ministry highly stressed the investigation work and many major topics were urgent to be studied. CAITEC, as a scientific research unit of the Ministry, should attached importance to application research, should focus on key and hot issues in commercial areas concerned by the government to put forward practical and feasible counter-measures.

　　Mr. Yi Xiaozhun hoped that the research specialists could enhance the sense of urgency under the general environment of intense competition to improve the scientific research level step by step. CAITEC should strengthen communication of information with MOFCOM departments and take full advantages of the investigation results collected by the departments, meanwhile, should strive to provide more opportunities to the specialists to contact with realities and take part in trainings, meetings and forums organized by the Ministry.
