You should decide on the best choice and mark the corresponding letter on the Sheet with a single line through the centre. Passage One Questions 21 to 25 are based on the following passage. The aim of the teacher is to get his pupils as quickly as possible over t period in which each printed symbol is looked at for its shape, and arrive at the stage when the pupil looks at words and phrases, for their meanin without noticing the shapes of the separate letters. S o m e t i m e s , w h e n h e m e e t s a d i ffi c u l t y , backwards to see again what has already been looked at once.
